About VHaquarell

VHaquarell is dedicated to the development and production of watercolor paints. Each color is created through a manual manufacturing process that is based on the material properties.

Depending on its composition, the development and production time for a color shade ranges from one to three months. Pigments, binders, and clove oil are processed in clearly structured formulas.

The current range includes honey colors, metallic colors, chameleon colors, neon colors, and curated color sets.

Project overview

VHaquarell was founded in Cologne, Germany in 2022. Ecological aspects and quality criteria are taken into account when selecting materials.

The paints are built up in six to eight layers per pan. The raised surface in the paint pan is created by this layering.

On Color Development

VHaquarell is an ongoing color project with users from different parts of the world. As part of continuous development, more than 300 colors have been realized and released to date.

The focus lies on the material properties of the pigments themselves, as well as on their surface, depth, and behavior in relation to water, light, and paper.
