Handmade watercolor paints are not produced by mixing every material at once

Instead, the binder system is first prepared as a stable liquid system before it is introduced to individual watercolor pigments according to their specific material behavior.

This preparation is not intended to simplify production, but to improve the stability and controllability of the entire material system.


Some watercolor pigments change their behavior immediately after contacting water

Long-term production observations show that watercolor pigments do not all respond to water in the same way.

Some pigments begin to form agglomerates immediately after direct contact with water, making it difficult for the pigment particles to disperse evenly throughout the binder system.
