No clear relationship between natural odor and painting performance has been observed
Based on many years of production and continued material observation, no clear relationship has been observed between the natural odor of a watercolor paint and its painting performance.
Some colors have a more noticeable natural odor, while others have very little detectable odor. However, current long-term observations have not shown that the strength or character of a paint's natural odor can reliably predict how it will perform during painting.
These observations are based on long-term production records and continued practical use.
Natural odor and painting performance describe different material characteristics
