About Victoria Hilbrecht
Victoria Hilbrecht's creative journey is a moving story of passion and determination. Born in Xinjiang, China in 1991, she began expressing her artistic streak through comics and artwork at a young age. Recognized early and published in local newspapers, she continued her journey as an aspiring artist.
During her school years in China, she developed a love for Japanese manga and anime, which led to numerous awards. Her studies in interior architecture and landscape design not only broadened her understanding of traditional art, but also opened the door to digital art. With a hunger for knowledge and acquiring language certificates in English and German, her artistic journey led her to Germany.
Germany became her new home, where she has proudly lived since 2014. However, even in the midst of these changes, she was confronted with an unknown illness that challenged her in a painful way. Art became her salvation, especially experimenting with alcohol inks in 2020. Despite medical challenges, she found a new form of hope in art.
The diagnosis of an autoimmune disease in 2022 led to a new therapy and a pain-free life from 2023. Today she runs a manufactory where she produces handmade watercolors and shares her knowledge as a lecturer for creative courses. Victoria Hilbrecht's story is a testimony of hope and determination that should serve as a source of inspiration for others. In the diversity of art and humanity, she invites you to become part of her creative adventure.
