Each color begins with preparation of its corresponding Binder System. Different Binder Systems form the basis of different color series.
Mixing
Pigments are mixed with the binder according to the corresponding formula. Mixing ratios, methods, and processing time vary from one color to another.
Grinding
Depending on the material, some colors undergo an additional grinding stage after mixing. Grinding time, intensity, and processing are adjusted to the material properties.
Filling & Maturation
After processing, the colors are filled into watercolor pans in multiple layers. They then pass through resting, drying, and curing stages until maturation is complete.
Labeling & Collection
After production is complete, the colors are labeled and become part of the VHaquarell Color Collection. They are available as individual colors, color combinations, and color sets.
